Bad Design Workshop

In my junior year at Parsons, I took a 5 week workshop class that revolved around bad design and what bad design means.

Every week we designed 8 page books and were given a prompt to follow.

The prompts focused around doing what we would not normally do when coming up with content and designing, bringing back old styles that are now considered ‘bad’, and creating a booklet that’s overdone or ‘doing too much’.

At the end of the semester, I had to combine my three individual booklets into one. Below are the spreads.
